ok i put this up in the fresh finds and i didnt get a response on what it may b worth ...im gonna try n sell it but i have no clue what it may b worth ...this bike is in great shape almost new really ...the tires r dry cracked but have tons of tread on em ...i was thinking like 150 ...to low to high ...tell me what ya think ..id really apperciate it !!!! thnx MIKE

sold it 2 a girl here in town for 70 bucks ....without new tires ....so she will b back next year 4 new tires !!!!

I sold a Univega mountain bike, similar vintage and condition on ebay last fall, went for 75.00. I dont know if Raleigh has a stronger vintage mtb following compared to Univega or other makes. yours is in really clean shape which always helps..

Your Raleigh appears to be a 1980's GIANT (Taiwan) made bike. If you put new tires on the bike, polished the chrome, and got rid of the rust, you might just get $150.00 for it. List it as

"Old School Steel Frame from the 80"s RALEIGH Touring Bike".

Promote the fact that the rims spin true (as long as they do) and it is lubed, tuned, and ready to ride. If you get talked down to $100.00 I guess you did okay (you did mention that in your origional post anyway).

walker thnx man !!! i have no clue on bike values ...i always guess it wrong ...LOL

hey 55 its a pretty clean bike ..the guy i got it from already did all the cleanin and regreasing ..rims spin true ...i just dont wanna put 40 bucks in it for new tires and only sell it for 60 bucks ya know ...now if i could get 150 id trow some tires on it ...LOL i guess ill see what happens ....thnx guys !!
