I have been collecting toys and stuff for years, but only recently got back into bicycles. I was cleaning out the basement this evening (yes, New Years Eve  ) I found a box of keepsakes from when I was younger. In the box was this plate. It is the very plate I ran on my first two wheeler, a Sears Spyder. I am guessing it would be from '71 or '72.

I got my name plate from my dad who just recently passed away. He picked it up at JFK airport while on a business trip in the early 70's. I had somehow saved it and like you I rediscovered it a few years ago. One of my priceless possessions. 8) Gary

I have been thinking of that for a while. I think it is going to prove to be a difficult bike to find or build. It had a short banana seat and smaller ape hangers. So far, I have only been able to come across the girls version which has a different color seat and wrong handlebars. Mine was red. This is what the seat looks like, if anyone ever sees a red one, please keep me in mind.

That's so cool to find! It's a "sign" telling you to build a Sears Spyder and attach it:D
