I got a chance to look at this yesterday before the cowl mock up. Very impressive work on the tank.:cool:

Crazy blitzkrieg in the shop today. Nice case of weld burn.

So far, the most challenging part has been getting the 700 c and a fender and a U brake to fit in the 26 fork. After several on and off maneuvers, I finally got it all to fit, no rub and brakes working properly. Way more work than making the nacelle or the tank. Hahaha. Go figure. all headed to sand blaster on Tuesday. Painting the following weekend. Now I am going to work on the seat. Not exactly sure what I’m going to do yet.

Nice job, and it reminds me that one day I will have to buy some kind of welder again...

Well .... if I didn’t ride this pig a couple miles in the rain today. Almost time to tear it down. Really happy with the ride. Scrapped the fenders. Front was too tight with the 700x41 Surly that I refused to sacrifice on this build. I want to ride this thing and not be worried about traction.

Debating an old Harley style oil tank behind seat tube and I front of tire.

Very happy with the ride. The coaster sucks on this but is getting better. May leave something else in. I will be polishing the side of rims. The silver is growing on me.

I threw in a gnarly set of 175 Odyssey Black Widows. Love those cranks.

If you have an iPad Pro, you must get the Procreate app. I think it’s like 15 bucks. The most bang for the buck graphics program I have ever worked with, working on paint mock-ups this evening as I will ride the bike tomorrow evening and then tear it down for paint.

Going for a retro freight train look up front. The lights will be trenched into the metal work. Card board mock up to test fit and interference with brakes and turning. View attachment 204081View attachment 204082
Excellent tank modification. Looks great. Really liking your train streamline front fairing idea. Maybe a MARS light installation per Southern Pacific prototype but in bicycle scale.
