I got wrapped up in what I was doing? I forgot to take pictures of my progress. This skeleton of aluminum had a chunk in it I needed. So I cut it out, sanded it, drilled it, reamed it, tapped it.

I pulled it out of a flashlight.

I ruined my last lens when the super glue bottle got out of control. Thanks to eBay, I was able to get another one from Indiana, in just a few days. So let’s try this again...
