Today's find. I have been curious what all the road bike hoopla was about and this will allow me to get a taste of it.

I didn't have much time before work to really look it over but I did see Dia-Comp brakes, Atom hubs, and Suntour shifters and derailers. It has a Milwaukee license sticker from '84. Anyone know anything about these?

Part that seat out and flip them bars down the right way and clean it up..
If you can try to wrap the bars form the top center down it looks cleaner that way ..(to me) other people say start from the bottom and go up
and it stays tighter ?..I dont think so.. any who clean it up and ride it..oh look for some new brake pads cant hurt good luck with it..Jay

It's all about the distance traveled over given time (speed). I'm not a big fan of road bikes, although I've owned a couple of them over the years. No other bike will get you there anywhere near as quickly, at least on smooth paths or pavement. You definitely need to ditch that energy sponge of a seat and drop the bar to obtain the benefit.
