We had a big rain storm today. Over 1" in the last 12 hours, which is alot as Boise only gets 12" avg/year.

My son loves to go puddle splashing. The alleys around our house are prime puddle splashing.

Awesome!

My 6 year old daughter would have been right out there with y'all...most likely wearing a new white shirt she wasn't supposed to.

Awesome, I took my 5 year old son and 8 year old daughter puddle splashing about a month ago, my daughter took her 7 year old friend who just got off her training wheels the day before. We had a blast! They found a puddle at the park about 6 blocks away that was 12" deep! They could just barely make it through, and on many attempts they didn't.

I cheat when I take them puddle splashing, I ride my tall bike and don't get a drop on me, but it's funny how your mind works, when I ride through a puddle on the tall bike I lift up my feet! haha

Thanks guys.

Did you repack some bearings after that?

Pic of your son's face is great. Look like freckles.

I like that picture too. Here is some editing to it.

Enjoy this time while you can. Blink and it's high school graduation, blink again college, then married with kids. All good but the time goes too fast. Awesome pictures, thanks for posting, Gary

I'm curious about the weather in Boise, cman. You say you only get 12" of rain a year, yet you have normal looking trees and green grass. We get 36" a year and my place doesn't look much different. How in the heck does anything survive on 12" a year?? Gary

Great Pics!

Thanks for posting them.

Nothing better then having a great time with your kids and bikes.

Great pictures, thanks for posting. Great to see both young and older "kids" playing in the puddles
I have many shirts that have the same "stripe" up the back that never get quite clean
