heres a bike that I was going to have as my rrbo bike but I wanted it done and couldnt wait!
I started with this late 40"s hawthorne straight bar frame
added some monark springer parts a columbia front fender put on the rear with a monark reflector even the bolts to mount the fenders were rusty :)
I cleaned up a real rusty set of Schwinn dropped center wheels with a skipped tooth chain
a crusty set of early handlebars flipped and mounted to a crusty varsity dropped stem
added a faux finish to some of the off color parts and satin cleard the whole bike :)
once the clear dries good and hard I will hit it with 600 grit sandpaper to flatten the shine and then all i need is a bent seatpost and shes done!

So everyone can now let out a sigh of relief knowing that this one won't be in the build off.

Love that sprocket.

A little paint and that is one sweet bike.

Hooch you will have a very hard time surpassing the springer fork from Rosemary.

the last few months I have been so busy selling bike stuff and I got away from what attracted me to the bikes to begin with. the building of cool bikes.
so now I am down to a few bikes and some cool parts and a ton of ideas so now I am back to my roots :)
