Rust removal and full disassembly. Ready for paint removal and sanding.
Got the paint mostly removed and some preliminary mock up going on. Pay no attention to the Buzz bike on the wall.

Love that color combo! I used something similar for details on a bare metal bike. I much prefer the hues you chose.

Got the first of probably many primer coats on today. Found he perfect color for the final paint at Autozone of all places, did not get a picture of it. Of course. Even found a space liner chain gaurd in my parts bikes. Its pretty rusty on the back and kinda ugly on the front. Will end up getting painted. At least its from a girls bike that was destined for the scrap yard.
What sucks is its an original schwinn seat.

True enough. I'll end up moving it along to a schwinn person, who would appreciate it more.
Crafted a 3 speed shifter into a vertical shifter tonight. Not terribly hard, but did take some creativity.
It looks good in there too!
