I was looking around at repair stands and decided just to make an easy one using PVC.I had some cheap clamps and hardware from one of my Flea Market trips. The upright has a support inside. I normally just use for assembly, but it will hold a complete bike with no prpblem Im making a new clamp with leverage handle.

Speaking from experience, dont try to use less than 2" PVC pipe or it wont be rigid enough, and even at 2" will be a little flexy. Real steel pipe would be better if you can scrounge it, and dont make the base too small or it'll tip over when you least expect!

Thanks but I put a solid wood dowl in the vertical pipe, it held a heavy complete bike very well.
