Question about barn find phantom

Hello, this is my first of many questions for all the ratrodders.Thanks for any answers and suggestions. I recently found a schwinn cantilever , 1955 I believe. This bike apears to be a black phantom, this bike ia s total basket case ,but has a springer fork and phantom chainguard, very rusted and hardly ledgible.the frame seems to be a middleweight,is it possible schwinn made a middleweight phantom, can anybody help.what would be the width of the rear fender

best thing is post pic if you can get one of it... many here that are very knowledgeable on the old bikes..
(me not being one of them).. but you post a pic many will answer... if you build it they will come :lol:

I never heard or seen a middle weight Phantom,to my knowledge ,they dont exist
. The differance is a 1/2 inch between the two,Phantom 3'' middle wieght 2 1/2. at the bottom of the fender brace.....Ralph
