Question for the Schwinn Guys

I have torn down my '55 Spitfire to do a detail cleaning job on it. The pedals are not Schwinn scripted but Persons-Majestic. Are the original or have they been replaced?

The Majestics have fat blocks on them, right? I don't think they're correct. I'd expect a Wald #300 or 800A, these have the thinner blocks with a raised rib on the corners. I think I've seen Schwinn approved versions. Late 50s, I think they started using the diamond block pedals. The Majestics were usually on deluxe ballooners. -Adam

Yeah, that looks right! I just realized I was thinking of Persons Supremes, they're the on es with the fat blocks. Derp! -Adam
