I have 3 BMX frames I plan to put up on the bay.

One of them (chrome) has cleaned up real nice, but some of the original stickers are pretty scrapped up. Would I be better off removing the gnarly stickers and cleaning under them, or leaving them "original"?

It's like on one side of the tube, a sticker is OK, the corresponding one on the other side is torn up. Would you remove them in pairs, or just remove the bad one, or leave them alone and let the buyer decide?

There are plenty of decent stickers that would identify the frame that I won't remove.

Thanks for the opinions and knowledge!

Better off to leave them and let the buyer decide. Some guys like to keep them original as possible. Taking them off may also detract from the price.

I don't know the age of these. Here's some quick "photography sux" snapshots to help answer your question.

The one with the gnarly stickers. Kawasaki Z1 - Frame provided by Huffy. Steel.

GT Dyno NSX Steel.

Any idea what they might bring on the bay?

Unfortunately...not a whole lot.

I've seen the Kawasaki bikes sell on the CL for about $40-$50 complete and the DYNOs usually sell for $50-$75 complete. The frames themselves are probably worth $20 at best. They are 90s model bikes so the value is way less than the stuff from the 80s.

If I'm not mistaken, the Ozone bikes are just basic department store bikes that are pretty cheap to start off with.

P.S. Liking your new repair stand.
