I've never owned, worked on, or even seen a Morrow hub in person, but with all the flap about'm on "Klunkerz", I wanna get one. The thing is, most of the Morrows I've seen for sale have skiptooth sprockets, and even the ones with modern sprockets, I worry about being able to swap gears if I want. My question is: does anyone know, offhand, the thread specs for the Morrow driver? Does it take regular track sprockets (1 3/8" x 24tpi), or does it have some other threading?

Thanks!

i was wondering the same thing after i ordered some 1/2 x 1/8 morrow sprockets from memory lane a couple weeks ago. i was thinking i could have just used some track stuff that was lying around. then i kinda forgot about it...

just now tried it with a track cog and lockring and it was a 'no-go', seems the morrow threads are coarser.

;-)

Great to know, Bendix... thanks. Incidentally, I saw a few ebay auctions that listed a sprocket described as Morrow/Bendix... Now, it's an eBay auction so we gotta take that with a grain of salt, but you might also wanna think about trying a threaded Bendix sprocket for a test-fitting.... that could make things easier.

I'm off to check Memory Lane to see what's in their stash...
