I have a Yakima Raptor roof mount bike rack with the tire trays. I checked Yakima's website to look for extensions for a long cruiser, but found nothing. I am looking to get a Kustom Kruiser Slick Daddy, and I would like to find a way to fit it on the rack any suggestions? Thanks.

Mike

Yakima used to have extensions but looks like they have gone to an expensive rack for tandems.

Xtracycle has a Rockymounts with an extended tray that would probably fit on a Yakima rack.

Welcome to the forum. Stop by the Intro section and introduce your self and post a pic of that Slick Daddy. Stick around and you will have fun.

I bought 3 adjustible racks with flat plates from REI. Then I screwed the flat plates together so there were 6 sets of legs to attach to the bottom of the frame. Because the seat of the Slick Daddy sits just above the height of/ and in front of the rear wheel, it is extremely difficult to stabilize the rack. However, I was successful, but it took a lot of work. Here's a link to a myspace page with a photo of the bike--totally tricked:

I couldn't figure out how to post to the gallery on this site. If this link doesn't work, send me an e-mail and I'll send you a picture: [email protected].
