I picked up a nice, original Raleigh Robinhood this weekend. The owner is calling me about a few other bikes, too. I really dig the matching seat/bag combo. Should clean up pretty well, and be very popular with the college girls. Wish I could say the same myself.

Old Raleighs never die :) One of the most solidly built 30s-60s bikes out there in my opinion.

Wow This Robinhood is nice I think with a little rubbing compound and wax it will look like new! :D
Collage Girls like new

I remember the original post of this one.....Did both seat stays break off at the same time? ............ Had to hurt!

Yup, both at the same time. The read fender acted like a giant brake against the tire. The noise was as startling as anything. Basically, I did a huge, unexpected slide. Keeping the bike upright was a chore. Thankfully, I am pretty competent in a rear wheel skid. Just glad it wasn't raining. That would'a been ugly.

You must admit, it has a more relaxed roadster geometry now.
