Raliegh Cruiser Question

I am not familliar with English bikes at all. Yesterday someone offer me a Raliegh 3 speed ladies bike with a rear luggage rack. Have not seen it but sounds like it may have some rust issues from sitting out but brakes and gears work and tires may need tubes or replacing. That being said reselling is not a plan. He said it has a Sturmey Archer 3 speed and hand brakes. Is parting it out an option? Does it have any parts that anyone would want? Since i know nothing of the Raliegh i dont want to end up with a boat anchor.

The wheels are 26x1 3/8" freewheel. Funny size tire but available. It may be a good flipper at the right price.

Depends on the parts, but parting out is always an option. I see the S/A 3-speeds getting sold on here often. The other parts could get some money as well.

Well it wont sell whole here unless its rust free and very nice. Even then 25 or 30 bucks and thats if you find a sucker. The most i ever got for a cruiser was 35 and it was sharp. Didnt look that gift horse in the mouth. I may go get it and try the parts thing. Surely i could make my money back doing that because i know for a fact without even seeing it i could never resell it here and break even. Probably wouldnt get any calls about it at all. I live in a very poor area to sell bikes. Finally sold this one this morning after advertising for over a month for 20.00. That was a brand new Troxel banana seat kit on it too worth more than the bike.
