RAT build gone bad....curb find.

A friend picked this one out of the garbage for me today. A well thought out build, don't you think?
The frame is a keeper. Can anyone help with ID? It has a 1974 license sticker, so she's at least that old. Evidence of a small horizontal oval head badge, and # by the rear axle: 64051589

It almost looks like some kind of twisted prank! If that frame could talk it would be begging to have those wheels removed.

from the looks of the frame, chainring and forks, it looks like a huffy; could be a rebadged sears bike built by huffy too. not a bad curb find at all.

It looks to be Huffy made for sure... it could have been badged under several different names... it may have been a Firestone or an AMF(err, at least i thoguht Huffy made some AMF's, maybe I'm thinking AMC?) and there are others too.
