Here’s a slow speed, stretched, lowered Schwinn American Rat Rod Cruiser I built. The frame started life as a 1963, but I cut, removed, flipped, stretched and reimagined what I wanted. The front springer is a pre WWII Schwinn . I built the gas tank out of an old fire extinguisher. Added a cheap Chinese 4 stroke with a belt drive. Built my own intake manifold to re position the carb 90deg to the engine. I built the exhaust pipe out a length of SS tubing. Added the ape hangers and the homemade sissy bar/ fender support. It’s a hoot to ride, probably one of my favorite go to bikes.

I like the very minimal rear fender and the smaller rear tire.
-How loud is it with the straight pipe exhaust?

Actually both tires are 26’s . Rear is a wider knobby and front is narrower straight tread. Not really noisy, more of a deep raspy tone. My two board trackers with the China girl 2 strokes are a lot louder !
