Found this on craigslist last night & I"m suppose to pick it up this evening. We're thinking about having this be the give away bike at our spring ride.

Just picked it up tonight & wiped it off, aired up the tires & lowered the seat. We might make a few little changes like pedals & bars before we give it away

Id say if you can... reverse the stem so it points down (might need a space under it for clearance), then get som beg ole sweeper bars.

Yeah we'd like to do something with those bars. They stick up too far.

is that a quill stem or a threadless? I'd swap the stem out for a bmx style then those bars wouldn't look quite so ridiculous. Thats a sweet bike though! Is the tank a part of the frame or does it come off? was that a local custom build? Again sweet bike... I wouldn't give it away!

The stem is threadless. The tank is made of metal & comes right off. The guy I bought if off of bought it from a guy who custom built it in New York.
