Well, I offered these up last year in a limited quantity and they sold out fast.

It was a bit of nightmare getting them so I wasn't in a big hurry to order more.

Humm two things I haven't seen....a two toned skiptooth chain and a springer where the bottom
loops are forward. All the ones I had they stuck out to the side. Build looks good. I like an Elgin.

The forward struts were used 55-58/59. Last of the shockmaster forks.

The rear ND hub feels like it needs an overhaul.

It runs good and stops good, but when you're coasting, there's a rough vibration that you end up feeling in your feet.

I'm guessing it's decades of gummed up gunk in there causing it.

old bike, old parts...just like old times! 8) paul, when you get ahold of a nos or near nos diamond skip chain, thats what they look like. ive got a couple stashed away.

Henry Morgan gets most of the credit for this one.

All I did was clean it up, flip the bars, throw on my tires and seat and call it done.

He took the Elgin frame I sold him several months ago and threw some really cool parts at it.

Without his contributions, this bike wouldn't be anywhere near as cool as it looks now.

How did you get the RatRodBike Logo on the fence ? Trick photography , trick Stain Artwork , or Computer Trickery ? :?

I just bought one of these forks for $25. I also have a "very rusted out" Road Master. The Road Master standed out. So what do I have? I will be using mine soon.
