So this happened.. In my hometown...
Yes i need this, twin top tube, disc brake, 27.5, cruiser style, tyre slanging, single speed mean son of a gun.
Yes, to take simple rides during nice summer evenings through the forest, just to ride and nothing else... To escape the ratrace of the day..

Ok fine! I'm in, but no paint ok?
Just a few tweaks here and there
I'll just replace the rear tire since it's worn out. Oh man my ... hurts from that plastic saddle, hey a Brooks!

Man, that sure looks awful with those red calipers

Nobody likes mechanical disc brakes, oops..

Hmm now i need to change the levers too

Okay Okay i'm done for today..
No really, my wife is gonna kill me if i make oil stains on the terrace

Oh and yes i hate 2 different color tires on a bike so i ordered these (and i need new discs)

Oh and the chain right, you always need a new chain to be sure

Gotta love parts day!

Tyres baby!

Shortened the brake lines and bled the brakes, installed new discs and brake pads.

The discs are Magura MDR, i believe it's for downhill but they just look cool i think

I was on a roll! Then i found out that the bolt head of the rear caliper was stuck..
Got that out with an extractor

Well now i just need to change the rear tire, the chain and the rear disc.

But i also had a little side project, my mtb also needed new tyres

For those who wonder, 2003 Cannondale Furio upgraded with disc brakes.

Beeft 2.25 Black Jacks.. i like!

Yes, me too!
Yes it works, it holds air and it locks. Its a small miracle, apparently they all leak air. I saw some stuff for these type of forks online at https://www.cannondalespares.com/products.php?type=2&subcategory=92&p=2&category=13&b=515&s=h

I order parts from rose bikes, great company....
And a bike exactly like that crossed my eyes, recently here. It's up for grabs. Looks like a nice city rider.

You have me thinking. Looks like it would be a smooth ride with nice components. I'm into electric these days, but a light mid-drive might work.

Time flies with kids..
No updates for a month, sorry guys!
I needed to fix this fast before time runs out.
Fixed the rear caliper, changed the rear tire and mounted the chain.

And yes it bothers me that it's red, i wil try to squeeze in some time to get it painted black, but at least i have a working bike for now.

I'm considering a name change to Blue Ray but not sure yet. What do you guys think?

Nothing wrong with a little splash of red detail here and there. Maybe paint the front one red to match.

Totally understandable time flies with life. I've definitely been there.

I love the looks this blue bomber. Got a nice clean look that just begs to have the tires ridden off of it. I like ratracer, but Blue ray would also be a cool name for it.
