The Ratscrambler has new Rockshocks forks and lay back seat post - and had another visit from Dr Matte Rattlecan.

'Zactly! It's for crap weather and the general use that isn't suited to my cruiser or BMX. Although I had to abandon the lay back seat post today. I'm tall and it felt very comfortable to sit on, but it was killing my thighs on the uphills and I couldn't keep the front wheel on the ground on the trail that me and the dawg do most afternoons. The MTB 20mm rear set post went back on this afternoon. It doesn't look as dufus either.

That's one sick bike...and with a matching blacked-out dog to boot! :cool2:
BTW, who makes the laid back seat post you're using?

BDC linked to an eBay auction, but that looks to be a Black Ops seatpost. You can get'm from various online suppliers. BITD, the company selling products as "Black Ops" was selling them under the "Bulletproof" label instead. It's the BMX house-brand label of one of the big'n'generic parts distributors; i forget which one. Might be J&B?

There is a member on here who makes seat posts and is highly recommended too. Name eludes me but try a search.

That'd be @slowriderz ; he produces top-quality stuff.

I've had both seatposts, and all i gotta say is this: Slowriderz's seatposts cost twice as much, weigh twice as much, but they're more'n twice as good as the Black Ops. Built to last.... but the Black Ops'll get the job done for everyone except the heavier riders.
