Began this project in Build off 11 and finished shortly after it was over. Loved the way it turned out but it was in my garage when we had a house fire. Decided that now is the time to bring it back and rebuild it. It is a 1943 Cycletruck that I had bought at the Pate swapmeet. Gonna go back with Navy theme again but this time a little different.

Wow, wasn't around for that one. Sad to hear that incarnation didn't survive. Love the panel graphics! Are there plans for something similar in the rebuild?

I'm sure there was a lot more important stuff lost during your fire...but, its a shame what happened to the CT. Good luck [emoji106]
We lost a lot, but also rebuilt stronger then before.. It is, I think I only had it done for about 6 months or so. Thank you

Gonna be very similar except the Navy crest will be different this time with more color and 3d

I remember many hours maintaining those battle lanterns. My division had about 12 of them that had to be good all the time. Other divisions would steal them and swap in their bad ones. I would roam the ship until I found mine, then get their chief involved. I would remove the cover to show the ID as mine.
On yours, I would take the face cover off and dispose of the 6 volt battery. Then replace that with LEDs or a different type of battery. That's what causes them to go bad, the corrosion from the lantern batteries.
It'll look great on that bike!
