So i heard about soaking parts in vinegar to remove rust,
and i have tried paintstripper, the evil stuff.
Reckoned i needed a big bath and lots of vinegar to soak a frame.
Then again if i made some sort of gel, like the evil stuff. hmm..
Recipe!:
Cook some vinegar to the boilingpoint.
Ad cornstarch, premixed with vinegar in a cup.
Stir till it gets snotty.
Smear it with a brush on anything rusty.
(doesnt that look atractive?)
Marinate for 24 hours, then wipe of.
(different crankset, premarinated. The bell was a testcase, i cleaned one half of really thick crust)
Hmmm! Deliciously clean parts!!
Tip: use a plastic bag to put your parts on.
