Hi,
This is what happened to the back part of the DiamondGoose "funbike" after I used the front part to build
the bent trike.
Since I used the rims, and spokes from the Redline "funbike" to build the trike, the frame was hanging up
next to the back of the Goose.
Sure looks like a tandem waiting to be made, was the thought.
Have made a few like this from BMX donors.
The fill in tubes are 2" exhaust pipe.
The cranks are Schwinn.

Since this build is about 1/2 done, I will pick up the build from here.
Has been test ridden, and several adjustments made.
Still some to do, then pull apart to finish and paint.
Painting is not my strongest skill. Rough prep and rattle cans.

Sorry, I cannot find the "full image: button yet. Where?

It was hitting the "insert " button that I was missing.

However I using windows 7 and "Brave".

Don't and won't use a "smart" phone.

Still have a flip.

Need to start over with the RedGoose tandem pics, as the thumb drive they were on quit.

OK, so now I can find the button that any 4 year old can find,
I will repost the RedGoose tandem build.
This really does ride nice, for what it is.
I mean this breed of mini tandems, built with BMX parts, do ride a bit bumpy.
Solid is another word.
And off course the riding position for both riders is very close to the wheel,
no standing on the pedals and letting the bike rock with the bump.

The steering on this one is smooth, and stable, almost 'hands off", but I will not try that.
Still have details to weld on, cables to route in-frame, and such.

Then take apart to prep and paint.
Planning another first class rattle can special.
Most likely semi-gloss black, a favorite 'cause it hides so many flaws.

Should find a wheel set. Borrowed the wheels/tires from the "Green" fun bike to speed up
the first road test. Now i need another set for one or the other.

Yet another big Yea Yea.
Got my wife to join me for a ride around the block on this bike.
The short ride was a plus.
Handled just about the same as riding solo, but with a bit more power.
No negative handling quirks.

This bike is geared for about .09 MPH and 9.9 MPH.
That's fast enough for too old fogies.
Very comfy and solid.
Nice to know, and now the time to finish will not be wasted.

Not time for pics today, however.
A good direction change for this build with the addition of 'the pile" of parts from Saturday,

The idea came rushing in while trying to sleep.

Until a few weeks ago, The DiamondGoose was together and riding as smooth as it has been
for 35 years. the blue tires were newer, as the older Comp-3 's finally were changed.
Those blue tires went on my wife's bent trike, as well as one blue wheel.

Well those are going to be changed out to black.
Those blue tires and wheels will end up on this "RedGoose" tandem, and that will decide what
color the tandem will end up. Blue, to match the wheels, just like the DiamondGoose was.
As seen in the "Gallery" under 'some old builds".

Might find some plastic chrome fenders somewhere, like before.

Have the parts and tires to make the change.

With some more wheel parts to use, I laced up a different wheel for my wife's new trike.
Then "rescued" the blue wheel, and the new blue tires that were on that trike.

They then found their way back onto the RedGoose, along with a "mega drive" freewheel
that came today.
