I know it's an exciting day because the build-off is over and voting begins, but remember to take a moment to reflect on the importance of Dec. 7th,1941. Forgive, but never forget.
 
I agree.
My dad was on a troop ship that landed at Pearl Harbor 3 days after the Japanese attacked. He had some horror stories about the aftermath and cleanup.
 
I grew up in the 60s and had a father and uncle who served as Marines during WWII. It was very natural for me, as well as many of my friends, to honor and respect the men and women who served our country. This upbringing has remained with me to this day and on these specific days, I find time to think of them and pay thanks. It really erks me that many people are only concerned with their lives, the lives they wouldn't have if not for our military!
