Hi guys,

I got 2 Schwinn Fastback wheels that need the 5 speed hub cluster removed. Anybody know where I can buy the correct tool for this? I know it is a socket that fits into the cluster, but I have no idea how to know which tool is correct or where to find that info. Anybody know for sure?

Thanks,
Dan

Yup, that's the one...was just using it the other nite on my buildoff bike ('68 Stingray 5 speed gear cluster).

I had the same question and received a whole bunch of help in this thread:

Hey Emanon,

Awesome signature! Nobody plays the early Pink Floyd music enough.

It's got a basket, a bell that rings
And things to make it look good.
I'd give it to you if I could, but I borrowed it. "

I bought one because it was less than $10 and I figured I would use it more over time. Plus, my LBS doesn't have much for "old bike" tools.
