Ive been stripping some bikes for parts and Id really like to save the sprocket on this one. tried removing the crank arm from the non drive side. I took the nut off and tried everything I can think of to get the bolt out but it wont move. Any ideas?

It's a cottered crank. You're best off using a press. Park used to make them, but they staopped. there's an expensive press at the bike smiths website. Or, you can go the DIY route, which someone just put up in RRB's "How-To" forum the other week. If you want to save the sprocket, it's more or less permanently attached to the DS crankarm.

Good luck. Rusty cotter pins are tough to dislodge.
