What does anyone think the best way to do this is?
i was thinking rubbing off with paint thinner...NOT laquer thinner though.

Any other suggestions?

heres a bad pic, but it gives you an idea what it is

I assume the paint is from a rattle can. If so that could be difficult. The laquer paint on my leather brooks would not come off with Goof-off or paint thinner. I didn't have laquer thinner so I scraped it off with a razor blade.

I wouldnt go near vinyl with laquer thinner.

Id try something less destructive/milder first like...

Goop hand cleaner

Castrol Super Clean

Maybe oven cleaner, but even that I would be very carefull with, testing it first on a small area on the bottom first.

Laquer thinner can be thinned down w/ water to make it not as strong. Ive done this at work for years to clean plastic lens of paint off of safety googles. Of course test first, the mix can be made strong as needed. Maybe start w/ a 50-50 ratio

i use fast orange hand cleaner (GOOP) and a toothbrush to clean off overspray from grips and its worked pretty good, maybe it would work on your seats too.
