The tires that came on these repops are indeed 26x2.125, however they are in the style of the day which doesn't look very big to us anymore after the likes of Fat Franks. I've had a couple different repops and obviously the Roadmaster is one I kept. The selling prices for these in the past 2 years have gone up a little bit to the $450 + range which is still a far cry from the original selling price of $3,000. They are built well and ride well. If you don't have any interest in keeping one you can always part them out. If you get it at a reasonable price - less than $300 - you can still make good money in parts. These headlights alone in like new condition will go for $150 + on ebay. They come equipped with an operating tail light w/ a brake light feature - not the roller bearing type - they actually have a switch. The saddles are top notch, the wheels are heavy duty paper boy style with 12 gauge spokes and the springer is identical to the original Shockmaster which in my opinion is still the best ever made. What's not to like. Not all repops are created equal and even though most of the components were produced outside the USA this is still a value at today's selling price.
