Quick easy and cheap way to make the caps look good.
Use the chrome looking furnace duct tape.Cut off 2and 1/2 inches.
Roll end cap at a diagonal starting at the bottom right corner.
You can trim off the extra and you will never see the seam.Use a razer blade to trim the ends.
Now for the very end.Trace the circle cut a little larger than you need.Put in the end and use a pencil eraser to push it in good then trim off the extra.
They look great when finished.
I have used this tape to restore the plastis shifter consoles also.
