So I shared this contest with my friends on facebook, I don't remember getting any replies, but I just got a call from my sister, she won. Got 2 bikes, mom got the Voyager (and loves it) and the bike that I wanted (The 411) has been given to dad. Crap, I love my parents, but I wanted to win! haha

Awesome to see someone actually win, wish I had.

It's interesting though, just a couple weeks ago mom started riding some and dad went along. Before I left on the mission trip my brother-in-law was calling asking about local bikes for sale that would suit mom better than the beach cruiser she had. Last night I had a message from dad asking if I had a little cover for the shifter on his old Mongoose (real Mongoose) mountain bike, and we were talking about putting some street tires on that bike and pulling down his old Cannondale to see what would be better since they'd be riding more now, and today they both have nice new bikes. I looked again at that 411 and wow, that is a sweet looking bike, can't wait to see his.

So I went to my folks house for a little visit today, I checked out the bikes they won, wow, super nice, could make me change my mind about Schwinn.

Mom's bike is some pink townie wannabe, she likes it, but I didn't pay it much attention.

Dad has the 4 one one bike and it is SWEET! Integrated handlebar rack it awesome. front and rear disk brakes. 700c wheels/tires, with reflective strips on rims in cool placement. Seat is embossed "4 One One" and has red rails with some other subtle red highlights on the bike. The rear has a Sturmey Archer internal multi-speed hub (not sure how many) with a thumb shifter, not a stupid twist. Dual top bars, just awesome up and down. I didn't pull it out to ride, but I will. Cool cool bike.
