Sunday December the 2nd at 2pm I have a spot in the Christmas parade here in Roanoke Rapids, NC.

This is my 3rd year riding, my second year with my own space reserved for bikes. This is always a fun time for those of us riding as well as all the kids who would rather look at bicycles than cars and floats. I've heard many kids say that the bikes are their favorite.

Because of my shoulder surgery I won't be able to ride my tall bikes, but I have others lined up to ride them, I will be riding a "normal" sized bike.

Here are the bikes I will have in the parade as long as I have riders for all of them:

-tall bike
-taller bike
-kid sized tall bike
-swing bike
-front wheel drive swing bike
-little chopper (my 5 year old)
-76er (build off bike)
-Higgins the German Spy (build off bike)
-rodeo bike
-Sand Rover fat tire BMX
-WRFF reverse trike
-'41 Schwinn DX women's bike

Another local guy has these:

-rat rod trike
-stretched chopper he built for his son
-daughter on banana seat Schwinn

If anyone wants to Ride with us, give me a PM for more details or I can answer on here.

The parade was a blast, but as usual I took out my camera in the queue and then didn't take it out again the whole time.

The other guy had his trike and 2 other bikes with his kids riding and I ended up having 12 bikes of my own in the parade. As usual, a lot of fun, most of the riders this year were kids, which was different, but turned out really good. Wish it had been cooler, I was burning up! I need to find some photos and post them, many people from church took pictures.

Highlights:
Got to see 2 guys watching the parade get into a serious fist fight, and I had 2 sisters from my youth group riding in the parade, one on a tall bike and the other a swing bike, right in front of the judges stand they crashed and both fell. Nobody hurt (these are the toughest girls you could imagine) but probably the first time in history that a swing bike and tall bike ever crashed. It was a Christmas miracle!
