well I somehow found some time to escape the house and unwind a bit with a quick mock up. my initial thoughts were to run deep V wheels but i am really diggin the look of these skinny slicks on 1.5 wide wheels. it kind of gives the tire a low profile look. I of course have to clean up the wheels and finish a ton of things, I just wanted to try out "the look"

Fork supplied by Eparsons.. Thanks again buddy

Verra' Nice.
I don't usually like stretched frames, but the proportions of this one are spot on.

well I am now winding down to the finished bike. Waiting for a Nice Brooks saddle to arrive from Wildcat and I will then have everything i need to finish.

Really like how the front end looks but am not sure about the light. It kind of adds a bit "too much" up front. I will continue to mess with the quirky things over the weekend.

You should have that B72 any day now. That's the seat I was going to use on my skinny tire cruiser.

As for the springer, just an idea, if you could put a forward angled curve in the struts that go from the springs to the axle, you would lower the front slightly and move the front wheel away from the down tube of the frame.

But on those springers, I've always had old ones with weak springs that would bottom out on the tire and flip me over the bars, so maybe some kind of stops would have to be made.

Thanks guys! I did get my brooks saddle mounted and finished the bike up ( for now ) but have yet to get any good photos of it as it has been frigid cold and I have spent the last 5 days eating myself into a coma.
