Picked them up this morning for $30. The head badge on the yellow is CWC Roadmaster. No head badge on the child's bike, but I saw one for sale once and I think it was an AMF Roadmaster. I didn't want it so I bartered with her and she ended up letting me have it anyway. The chain guard says 16" and what looks like "jr". It has hard rubber tires and is a convertible frame. The yellow beast appears to have original parts but I think some are missing. The seat is pretty worn and is mounted on the skinniest seat post I've ever seen! I can't tell who made the seat because there's no obvious branding. I'd like to know the year of this heavy yellow tank! Hopefully someone recognizes it.

that CWC straightbar has to be 40s or older, based on the rear facing dropouts and chain tensioners. Definitely not the original sprocket.

And yes, good score ;)

I think Phil said CWC used rear facing dropouts thru 1954, and the postwar frames don't have drop stand 'ears'... So it might be early postwar.. But still rules though! :D ~Adam
