Got me a wireless N router and a ROKU TV box for Christmas.
Even on my old analog TV this thing rocks. My Pandora "Reckless Kelly" radio station is playing "Oklahoma Breakdown" - Stoney LaRue now in the living room. Yeah! I bet it would really sound good if this old set had audio outs for a home theater sound system!
Being iced in the last couple of days, I explored what it will do. I must have loaded 15 free channels to it today. The only one that costs me is the basic $10 a month Netflix channel so far. I watched a streamed movie called "The Parking Lot" this afternoon. Weird movie, but I liked it!
One of these days, an HD TV with built in wireless network and a basic sound system is in the cards. No hurry, waiting for the price to come down and the capabilities to go up.
