Rollfast Tanks.,

I've been looking over some 60's model Rollfasts, similar to the one Im trying to have dated if possible in the I.D. thread.,
I've seen three or four variations and a couple more that seem like they would work.

What tanks DO work on a Snyder Built Rollfast? And if you happen to know, whats the stock tank look like for this model?

Whats a tank like that run on average? [assuming its not Unobtanium of course ] Do you happen to know the year of your model?

Not my ride, I saved the pic for one I want to build someday. I bought a hawthorne tank for mine for $50. They're not very common. The bike I have has a BMA/6 sticker, making it at leats a 71. But it has the same frame design dating back to 58 or so. -Adam

Its gonna be amazing to see your take on it~ With all this said., are you telling me I could fit a Wards Hawthorne tank in my rollie?

Snyder built many of the Hawthorne-badged bikes. You just gotta find the right one.

Yeah, if you get one off a nearly identical frame.... not sure if the double top tubes are going to throw a wrench in it....

Thats what I was worried about I figure given shape, I could also work with a schwinn tank, in theory, too I suppose.
I wish I knew what fit for sure.,

Actually, looking closer, the tank on my pic won't fit your frame, your canti bars attach further forward on the frame. I'm gonna need to check my tank against the frame tomorrow! I thought these later Snyder frames were basically identical, but I have been proven otherwise! That other frame with the slimline tank is a Ross, could potentially fit, but who knows? Also, here's MY Rollfast.

Savage., I like the tank. Its got kind of a torpedo shape which could prove interesting to theme with the bike.

Im not sure if it'll fit, but it'd be really neat if it did.
