Good day to all!

A good bud of mine recently stumbled upon a Ross Custom Deluxe. I have this one photo from Facebook is all for now.

If you can see the photo, can you help us ID it? He cannot find a serial number anywhere? any thoughts on where to look?

I've never seen a bike like this. It's very cool.

Earlier iterations of this bike are the Chain Bike Corp "Thunder Jet" Right after Ross bought them out or they renamed themselves (can't recall), they continued production for a year or two with this look. They went to a middleweight design from a full ballooner, so the date will be late 50's to early 60's probably no later than '63.

The bike is very nice for sure, he sent me some more detailed photos and the graphics are even better that they look in this photo.

He plans to take it camping with him. He has a '58 Airstream so this will go nicely.
 
I've seen that style in a 1960 ad, so they made them at leasat til then. They still sold Thunder Jet badged bikes as well as Star Jet into the mid 60s. I'd guess it was for a chain or hardware store but don't know any details. -Adam
