Royal Flyer

I just picked up this Rollfast built Royal Flyer, and i'm trying to find out as much as I can about it. I was told it is probably from the early '40's. My plan is to make the bike functional again but not restore it, the patina is too good to mess with.

564 is stamped on the bottom bracket. Does that mean anything?

cool looking bike looks to me like the late 30's never seen that chain ring style before would like to see a close up shot of it...
