My girlfriend passed by a slew of bikes for sale on the side of the road the other day and we went back today and picked one out of the bunch. Pretty rare bike in the US, I'm guessing, is this West Germany built Royal Sport. I have these seen in pictures only and saw a boys version sell for $599 on EBay. I really know nothing of these bikes. I like the frame and that 3 piece crank and chain ring. I may be able to do something with it. I wish he had the chain guard with it. Check out the graduated down head tube.

IDK if I'd be able to locate the correct chain guard. I may be able to find a substitute for it. I have a new twist shifter for it and I think I have the correct cable as well. The wheels need replacing. The hub should clean up well and just respoke it to a new rim. Crawford could probably reproduce the decals for it but I know he want like $40+ dollars just for the set.
