I wanted to take a moment and say welcome to our latest site supporter...C4 Labs out of Marshallton, Delaware.

Chip and his crew specialize in custom bike and car powder coating. They have been in business for over 10 years now and are known as one of the best bicycle powder coaters in the business. Their meticulous attention to quality and detail makes them the "go to shop" for folks building show bikes and cars. They do most of their bicycle work online so they are used to shipping bike components all over the U.S.

Check out their website when you get a chance to see the great work that they do!

Thanks for the welcome, I'm proud to support the site. Our reputation is fairly well known in the vintage BMX comunity, but over the last few years we've done regular work for some high end mountain bike frame builders, and have been picking up a lot of modern work from local bike shops. Although we've done vintage Scwhinns in the past, we just recently started to work with a few collectors to get accurate colors in stock for popular models. Vintage bicycle frames and parts account for 90% or more of what we do, and all the people involved at C4 have a strong passion for them. Our turnaround has always been less then two weeks, often times, a few days, and above all, our goal is to provide the highest quality finish available. I appreciate the opportunity to earn a reputation with some of the tallented bike builders participating in these forums. Don't hesitate to email or call us if you have a need for our sevices. Hey Chip... Got a question for you... do you have a powder coating that would be super reflective? I was thinking a reflection of light like you see on road signs or the side of NCC Police cars. That would make for a really cool bike at night.

I have a fairly big project that's gonna need a lot of powder; as soon as I get the remaining components in, I'm going to see how C4 Labs is. I live in South Jersey, and I went to grad school in Newcastle DE, so it's prolly just a 45minute ride. I'll be sure to post up a before/after/built thread on the project at some point. It's a Worksman LGB I'm building for my fledgling soap company.... The plan is spare few expenses, and leave the thing totally covered in powder/chrome....
