I got an old fuji, im not sure how much it weighs but wholey smokes! these darn racing bikes are LIGHT!! I wanna put ape hangers on my racer and a fat electra seat
yes, and keep in mind that frame and f ork are at least 50 years old!

for a guy to work his Forks in a lathe...weld up his own fixed
rear hub...paint it to match..and piece together bits and parts
from salvage bikes is pretty impressive.
with a very limited parts supply you brought that bike back to life!

Yes, unfortunately there was a mix up and we sort of left him in the dust. I'm gonna go out on a limb though and bet he's like most of us and could have cared less about the judging and just enjoyed the build. :wink:
yes, on the one side i'd like to see my bike compete with others in the poll, on the other side I think my bike would't have made it among the top five anyway, and probably no one would have paid the postage to ship a prize over the pond...
