Re: RustMaster

Rust Master is the sheit! What is it a Columbia, Monark, Elgin? The handlebars don't do it for me. They need more rust. But, that's a pre war gem bro. Bonzai!

Re: RustMaster

yummm... what a rich patina. that's a beauty!

nice choice on the red tires - they kinda carry on with the various shades of oxidation. that nice seat sure is in good condition.

Re: RustMaster

For dating purposes the frame is 1947-1949 (dated by the style of the rear dropouts and the Seat binder collar) and the fork with the bumper truss rods is 1950-1954.

Re: RustMaster

Thats a sweet ride. I agree the bars need more rust but other than that its perfect. Thats a really unique looking seat too.

Re: RustMaster

RUST what rust, what I see is beautiful PATINA.
A paint job just talks a few hours, but patina like that takes YEARS.

And that chainguard is different in that it covers the sprocket on both sides, neat.

Only here can these changes be considered upgrades  Recovered the seat with some leather from an old jacket , and added some padding . Got some sweet braced handlebars and Torrington stem , too :D
