I Heart bike history. I was looking at a "Savoy" bicycle today, kinda lame construction, boring lugs, cottered crank, steel wheels 12 speed gas pipe looking road bike. Neon magenta lettering made me think early 90s. All "whatever" so far. Then at the bottom of the seat tube, reads designed and built in the usa, ny. Made in Tiawan. So im trying to figgure this out looks like union savoy? Which is Royce Union? Any history buffs wanna sort this out for me? I love the genealogy of companies. I belive the model was a Torino. No pic yet owner says "nfs" (yea right), but im going back to buy 15 unseen (prob kids) bikes, so well see!
