schwalbe delta cruiser pops of rim

hi on my gov´nor clone i have creme schwalbe deltsa cruiser 28x1 1/2 tires on original raleigh 635 rims, but it seems the side of the rim is not high enough, if i get to about 3,5-4 bar preassure the tire pops over the edge and the tube explodes :-( this has happened a few times, as im am a man with unusually large bones in my body, i need the tire preassure higher than that, schwalbe says no more than 4,5 bar in those tires..does anyone have any experience with this ?? does anybody know if a 28 x 1 1/4 is made in creme( dosent have to be schwalbe) or if there are high and low rims in 28" as well, the rim i have now has no braking surface at all

yes...
I've learned that there are different sizes of 28" rims. Check if the (635) number matches both tire and rim. On my two 28" bikes I'm using (622) tires on (622) rims... Of which one is a schwalbe whitewall road cruiser.
