Do any guys here move on high end stuff or are most here craftsmen? I've noticed that alot of these bike are NOT real ratty but contraire they are works of art with obvious time effort labor and money involved. I did not come here to try and make a but I figured I would mention that both of my Panthers are for sale ... 1 stock & the raw aluminum 1.
Parts list can be seen in the build threads.
Over $2k in parts starting in March of 21

All types of stuff is bought and sold here...throw them up in the for sale section and see if you get any bites!
Yeah, maybe I'll try that. I built this bike for a local Detroit music celebrity & he dipped out on me & the project. At that point I had to finish it out of my pocket. It was done by deadline, everyone loved it, rides wicked for a 20lb BMX/MTB/Kroozer & looks pretty awesome imo. So ol skool but so not. Conceptually a winner for these times when ya can't get hardly any parts new or even NOS. I pulled so many strings & called in favors just to get kicked in the junk. I feel terrible for the suppliers that bent over backwards to get stuff made/not stocked & even pull parts from other projects to help. This "tube sock" rhyme made me look bad. I love the bike & thank goodness he didn't have a chance to get his hands on it. I got my baby that I loaned back too.

I hate posting up stuff I know is Kool and the cost of it & sounding like a bag of.....
I know how much was spent on this build (no mark up on parts) and even having two of my best on it for countless hours, the favors from Bombshell & profile, having ODI take time out to custom etch lock rings for the grips & on & on. This person used multiple people to get this done to look good at an event & then dipped out! Not only am I but hurt, my wallet hurts.
The good part is...another Schwinn saved/Maxxed out, but recognition of a Schwinn model that might have just been swept under a rug. I've known about these since day 1 but could never get my hands on 1. Back in the day the dealers said...nope, got a deposit, nope...preorders, nope...I'm keeping that 1. And I always kept my eyes open. 20 years later, for someone else I find. Then the guy I got it from (bykpsycle)hustler, calls me & says...want another?
A Real cool story that took me all over & even netted me a Chrome Schwinn Paramount. Oh man, what a ride over the last few months.

Yeah I guess.
It's not a turd, it's actually a killer bike. It wasn't built using "Chris King" and stuff...its was built using parts that are commonly used in Pro classes, back in the day & now. The ol Odyssey TORO pro headset, Bombshell which has been around forever but not mainstream, mostly pro stuff. JW machine and design...pro guys like Jeff's stuff and whatever. I know alot of these guys from flat trackin HD's & building hotrods. Don't get me wrong, I am a bike guy but bicycles don't pay the bills like competitive Motorsports stuff. I am fortunate for the crossover and to be able 2 do stuff like this with help from others. Here I am with a bad to the Bone Schwinn cantilever that I really enjoy riding but... Was I ready to spend on this? It's definitely not a bad bike to suck it up on but unannounced can be a financial burden

I'd cash it out for the cost of parts. Not what you could git um for but MY price. Not to sound uppity but some of this stuff ya can't get. 1 off stuff and discontinued stuff. (Custom stuff).
I'm NOT gonna give it away but I'd sell it for a couple grand less than you could ever build it for.
And then the rarity/exclusivity.

Cost of duplicating which isn't possible would be $4000 or so...not kidding. So many engineering techniques, research and development and the amount of craftsmanship that went into this bike is mind-boggling. It's so dialed in it's ridiculous. I'm going to stop now because it sounds so... I'll just stop. I'll just say it was built on a level the most want to comprehend... In an engineering facility in the motor city.
Countless hours by the best nut & bolt guys I know.
