schwinn?and a lady hawthorne

Picked up the Hawthorne at pate swap meet for $80 mostly for the wheel set but I do have a boy's with a springer I can do a his/her's .got the Schwinn and two other bikes in a package deal a Raleigh chopper and a Murray F1 eliminator for $120 all very crusty. the crank on the Schwinn has AS&co with a 2 and what looks like a diamond, no head badge.# K73145 on bottom bracket.

help with the ID on the Schwinn and the year of the lady's bike will be great!

The Schwinn is a Prewar DX model.

'41 DX...we have a winner! What size is the frame? Measure from the center of the crank housing to the top of the seat post. Almost looks like a 16" frame. They came in 3 sizes, 16", 18", and 20". Gary

The Hawthorne looks like my 1935 Dolly Varden model, right down to the baby blue repaint!
