This badge is on my '58 26" Schwinn. In a different thread someone suggested it might be a Spitfire badge since the word SCHWINN doesn't extend all the way down. I've looked around but can't find a photo of what it should look like if new or nice. Anyone have one they could post up or tell me where to see one?

I can't think of which badge had a word below the Schwinn but this is the Spitfire one they may have been thinking of. I don't know if there was a different style at any point.

I keep thinking there was a spitfire or Wasp version of the schwinn badge similare to the BFG badge on the right, not 100% on that though

The BFG badge is the only other one I've seen with the gap at the bottom.

Here we go..... It's got 20" West Coast Choppers tires/wheels on it.

Since it's been suggested by some that it is a Spitfire, and others have suggested it's a Typhoon, I don't know what it is. So I'm going to call it a SPITOON........ :)

Finally found the badge I was talking about, it is stamped schwinn and is screened BFG below it. To late to hunt down the camera but I will snap a pic tomorrow... I have no idea what bike I pulled it off of but I'm thinking mine was a 50's early 60's girls bike from the color of the badge.
