schwinn chainring question

what size chainring was on the 60/70's stingrays? not the krates w/ the 16" front wheel.
the stinrays w/ 20" wheels front and rear.
was the the chainring 40 or 44 tooth?
i put a 44t on mine, but i wanna put a shorter crank on it. i figure if i'n gonna take it apart i aughtta have the rite size chainring.

lucky 7 sprocket - 36 tooth (earley coasters and little kids bikes)

coaster sprocket - 46 tooth

"mag" sprocket - 52 tooth (5 speeds)

dang it....in that case i'm gonna stick with the 44t. thanx for the info.

A single speed/3 speed MAG sprocket is 46t.

i dont know what tooth count the walmart BFK stingrays had though ?

last summer i got a 78 stingray frame only. so i had to strip parts from a handfull of other bikes.
a pal had one of the BFKs and his had a 44t chainring. i didnt have much else to go on, so i orderd a wald from the local mom&pop hardware store.
