schwinn choppers

I'll take a group pic tomorrow of the three schwinn choppers I now have.I already had two of the smallest ones for my two grandsons.This week I found one of the bigger ones (20"?).The boys will love that Dad (my son) has a bike "just like"theirs .Now I'm looking for one for Mom.The last one is missing the brake parts. Can anyone tell me if the levers, (the parts that the brake pads attach to), are unique to this bike , or might I be able to use some off of another bike? The smaller ones don't have the hand brakes on them.Any help will be appreciated.
Ever ride on of these things? They are hard to ride.

It will take longer ones than any I have on junk bikes.The rear tire is so fat that the ones I have don't extend past the tire.

hey Thom. I thinks that schwinn brake arms will fit. I found a kids 20 in bmx bike and it used the same brake arms as my occ chopper. worst case a lbs should be able to order them. As far as riding the adult choppers (20x4.24 and a 24in tire on front) if u make some small changes they are comfy in a recumbent kinda way. What i did to my wifes was I added a long sissybar. Cut the seat off and used the post with another 27.2 seat post slide inside it. Then I put a nana seat on it. This moves u back and gives u plenty of leg room. Next I put apehangers on it and a longer brake line because of the length of the bars. U can't stand up on the pedals but u can push against the tall sissy bar like a recumbent. Is comfy once u get used to the low stance. I've pics of this bike on my intro page and on my build page (Tony hawk and two occs) That bike however is another story.

Here's the pics of our chopper collection so far.

The red one just needs a good detailing.

the blue one needs the same and is missing one grip.

The black one is missing the brakes , the fender, the chain guard ,and someone has removed the decals.I intend to replace all the missing parts. Now, my two grandsons and their dad all have matching bikes. I'm looking for a green one for their mom.

Thanks. I will order a set. I started to go ahead and do a major cleaning and detail on it but decided to wait until I have the new decals in hand.There is just enough residue left on the paint to see where the decals were originally so I can put them back exactly where they belong.Thanks again. Now if I could find some white decals for my 79 Schwinn Caliente I would be happy.
